Johnee Wong also known as SHAO and DJ SHAOLiiN is a professional IT consultant by day and Pro Deejay by night.
Johnee has been quoted as being a "Kaleidoscopic Rollercoaster Mix-Masher" on the wheels of steel entertaining crowds with his high energy music and personality. Johnee has a very unique style inspired mainly by Funk, Motown, Old School Hip Hop, Classic Rock and House music.
In early 2010 Johnee joined the VoxBox Studios - DJ Skool family in Calgary Alberta Canada. VoxBox is a DJ School and DJ agency founded by David Gale a long time friend of Johnee. Johnee taught students the art of DeeJaying and entertaining crowds while at VB.
When asked what is it you love about being a disc jockey; Johnee comments "I love the journey and memories generated by the energy, the beat and most importantly the crowd. I maybe behind the decks, playing sets and pumping up the crowd but; I am also right there with them. The adrenaline I get is a combination of music and crowd energy..."
