Hailing from the Chicagoland area, JBlendz started out DJin' neighborhood basement parties, school dances, and college parties; he is now regarded as the best DJ in the cruise line industry, winning numerous awards, earning DJ contracts with Major League Baseball (MLB) and Coca-Cola. He is the President of JBlendz Enterprises, founded in 2001.

Caribbean Tour - Since 2012, JBlendz has performed and continues to perform on islands like Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Bahamas, and Gibraltar. Each year beginning in 2012, JBlendz hosts a caribbean festival on islands like Jamaica and Aruba. These sponsored events and festivals feature his favorite genre of music, Soca. His passion to promote and play the Soul of Calypso, on beaches or onboard cruise ships, has earned him the title "Soca King of the Sea".
