My career started in 2000 with the former G.S.U (General Sound Unit), 2006 formed a new Sound System called XPLOSION and I now go by the alias J-Lava, 2010 I became part of DEI MUSICALE | The Musical Gods (Ruan Legend and J-Lava) which was formed by The Julius Caesar Entertainment Company.

Between 2006-2010 I beefed up my DJ career traveling regionally - Jamaica, Antigua, St. Vincent, Barbados and Grenada. I presently play and played for some of the top promoters , clubs and mas bands local and regional e.g. Caesar's Army, Candy Coated Events, Scorch, Island People, Poseidon Productions (Barbados), The Former Club Coconuts, The Former Nemo's, Zen Night Club, Aura, Committee International, Fusion night club (St. Vincent), Bananas night club (Grenada), Fiction (Jamaica), Club Privilege (Jamaica), 2005 Tribe Mas Band, 2009 Elements, 2011 Bliss to name a few.
