That is Christonite’s mantra each time he steps up to the decks. Growing up in the suburbs of Suva, Fiji, listening to Motown, Reggae and Country, his roots are grounded in Soul but his exposure to electronic music as he grew and traveled has ended up with quite a spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses with swift subtlety all the kinds of music he loves best: groovy bass lines, banging percussion on syncopated elements, vocal hooks and feel good vibes in between high energy dance floor fillers.
