In 1994 DJ Will Shake's career was started in Santa Cruz, Ca with several residencies at The Blue Lagoon Club, including sharing the decks on Saturdays to a feverishly packed dance floor and lines down the sidewalk. A move to San Francisco in 1996 started a new trajectory in his career that included weekly residencies such as Bliss Bar on Saturday nights upon its grand opening, several guests septs for the reigning king of mid-week parties Qool at 111 Minna, gigs at venerable SF venues like The End-Up, Ruby Skye, and Kelly’s Mission Rock to name a few, as well as bringing his upbeat genre-bending blend of funk infused sets to countless house and underground parties.
