The night is long and the moon’s soft glow is still strong. Bodies are writhing around you. You’re feeling a bit dirty. Highs and lows have passed you in waves like the rhythms flowing in and around you. Not everything about the night has been all you’d dreamt it might be. Sometimes you need to work through the darkness to get to the light.
I’m honored to be able to create this mix for the 24HourMusic.org 2019 edition representing the 5am to 6am hour on a Saturday morning. I share it with you and is meant to transport you through feelings from a moment of tension and darkness, whether it be in dancing on the beach, on the playa, at a dark corner of the afters, (or in your headphones-why not?)
