For two hours of Soul, Rare Groove, Jazz...
Well, where do I start? I was born in 1964 and raised in East London, my teens saw me go through 'many' musical phases, from Punk to Reggae to Soul, Funk, Jazz and back again. Most of the youth clubs in those days played a wide variety of music and it wouldn't be out of place to hear sounds like Killing Joke played back to back with the O'Jays!
My real love's are Soul, Funk, Jazz & Rare Groove, honed from various clubs & events such as Talkin' Loud (Dingwalls). Lacy Lady (Ilford), The Wag, Caister Weekenders... Oh my, the list goes on.
