Listening History

Atlanta, United States
I grew up listening to a weird combination of New Wave, Disco, Country, Funk, 60's Pop, Easy Listening and Hip Hop, and started deejaying around 4th grade, dropping Depeche Mode and Newcleus records at middle school parties.
After moving to Los Angeles in 1999, I started playing local clubs and Mojave desert parties while keeping up my monthly disco-centric VIP AREA podcast. I've spent the last 10 years mixing jazz, punk, classic rock, 80s & 90s alternative and indie dance (not all at the same time), and have returned to my original love, vinyl - most recently in old school funk, soul, disco and hip hop.
