Brisbane, Australia
DJ Tyrone (Tyrone Noonan) knows how to read a room and build a set that gets the party moving. Equally at home in clubs, festivals, weddings and private events, he draws on a deep love of music to connect with the crowd.
A formative period in Europe sparked his passion for trip hop, nu-jazz and jungle. Back in Brisbane, he wrote weekly columns for Time Off and Scene and launched club nights The Lift, Tribal and Frontal Lobe. Today, his sets move through house and jazzy house, nu-disco, funk, soul, R&B, hip hop, reggaeton, Latin jazz, rock and pop, with remixes and re-edits woven throughout.
He regularly plays at many of Brisbane’s premier bars and clubs, with appearances at venues and events including GOMA, Brisbane Festival, HOTA and the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Beyond the decks, Tyrone is an ARIA Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist.
