Truwaxx

TRUWAXX is a house DJ shaped by the sound and culture of Chicago. Growing up in southeastern Wisconsin, close to house music’s birthplace, he absorbed its pulse, soul, and belief in connection.

He began mixing on borrowed turntables in the early ’90s. What started as raw curiosity became a lasting devotion to rhythm, movement, and the energy shared between DJ and dance floor.

After a decade behind the camera as a photographer, TRUWAXX returned to the decks with renewed purpose and a sharper visual sensibility. Now based in southeastern Minnesota, he blends tech, club, deep, and soulful house into high-energy journeys built around groove, emotion, and momentum.

For TRUWAXX, a set is more than a sequence of tracks. It is a carefully constructed exchange of sound, light, and movement—designed to bring the room together.
