Prior to DJing, Wahine studied jazz and a dozen world dance forms, which heavily influences her mixing style and selection. Her sound is comprised of very danceable, and often sing-able tracks, strung together with long, seamless mixes to elevate and maintain the groove. This is disco, house and funk for the dancefloor--and for meditation, healing and falling in-love: soaring vocals, hypnotic synths, funky basslines, african and latin percussion, with a cinematic flair, all layered atop stompy beats.

Wahine made her international debut at Defected Croatia 2019, sharing the bill with Derrick Carter, Joey Negro, Masters at Work, Horse Meat Disco, Jellybean Benitez, Yuksek, Folamour, Eli Escobar, Dimitri from Paris, and more than 80 of house music's finest DJ's.

March 8th, 2020 marked her debut as a resident with Spin City (UK) on MyHouseRadio.fm and within days, was #1 on the US, UK,
