URBA: in context: the window frame we poke our heads out of from
Urbarritmo is essentially urbane; the treasure cove where we search and re-search in the hope of unearthing musical jewels: from future classics to vintage tunes so old they almost sound new.

RRITMO: in context ..none needed, right?

URBARRITMO is a night dedicated to urban breaks and beats and to the primordial ooze they all came from: the city; convinced as we are that cities, as social labs, generate and determine the creative lives of their inhabitants.
We could wax lyrical about urbarritmo for ages but suffice to say that it
began in May'07 as a monthly event in order to showcase nu urban music with attitude. It is a project that saw the light, ironically, from the
twisted minds of the inhabitants of a dark basement reconditioned as a
record shop (robot records).
These inhabitants: three itchy-arses; are a dj, a graphic designer and an
architect. All three music lovers and freaks in equal measure. Word.
