Matthew aka DJ Way is a Chicago native and Juilliard trained musician who has worked over dance floors for more than a quarter century. He is inspired by disco, funk, and soul, and blends house and techno infused with funky beats, heavy bass lines, and soulful acapella.

Matthew's most notable residencies were at Float, Dyckman Bar, and The Empire Hotel Rooftop in New York City, and then Laundry Bar, Whitelaw Hotel, Sixx Lounge, and Blue "the most unpretentious home for house music" in South Beach, Miami.
