Born and raised in Philadelphia, DJ Slipmat was introduced to electronic music at an early age. Circa 1996, Drum & Bass dominated the scene in the area and a love affair was started. Slipmat, a DJ/Producer primarily of Drum & Bass, Dubstep, and Drumstep music . He has djing for over 10 years now; however, has only been producing for 2 years. He has played clubs up and down the east coast alongside premier talent such as Dieselboy, AK1200, Dara, DJ Icey, Hive, and Gridlock to name a few.
