Simon Shackleton is a British electronic music producer, DJ and composer, perhaps best known to dancefloors as Elite Force.
Across more than three decades, his music has moved through breaks, bass, techno, electronica and the spaces between them, with projects including Elite Force, Lunatic Calm and Zodiac Cartel. His DJ career has taken him from Fabric and Ministry of Sound to Glastonbury, Boomtown and Burning Man, including sets for Robot Heart and DISTRIKT.
His music has appeared in films, television and games including The Matrix, Charlie’s Angels, Top Gear, Wipeout, FIFA and Need for Speed.
Today his musical world is deliberately genre-fluid, connecting more than thirty years of electronic music with what excites him now. Expect DJ sets, live recordings, archive mixes and journeys through breaks, bass, techno, house and leftfield electronics.
