Richard Zepezauer is an unmissable figure in Berlin´s electronic music scene. Label owner of n s y d e and a Panorama Bar / Tresor / Concrete Paris (rip) regular DJ, known for skillfully merging genres and aesthetics in order to find new ways of storytelling for the boundaryless and sweaty dancefloors.
2010 he invented the Sun Ra Reel to Reel Session Events together with Mike Huckaby (rip). These nights have been experimenting with the unseen intersections between Sun Ra´s cosmologic music philosophy and contemporary psychedelic forms of electronic and electroacoustic productions. Regular contributors have been Mike Huckaby, Pole, Jimi Tenor, Thomas Fehlmann, Thomas Meinecke (FSK), CGB-1 from Dubplates&Mastering.
In 2018 the Sun Ra Reel to Reel Sessions has been opening night of the Detroit One Circle Festival alongside Mike Banks, Mark Ernestus, Juan Atkins, and Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann.
He also worked with the Berlin Academy of Arts on a classical opera project Wagner 2013.
