London, United Kingdom

Throughout school, I worked as a waiter, investing in film & audio equipment and saving for a yearlong trip to Latin America. In 2009, I hitchhiked through sixteen countries from Argentina to Mexico, recording music and working in catering, hospitality and education. After graduating from Leeds with a first in Music, I set up a music-for-aid charity called Recording Africa and began documenting endangered music in West Africa and archiving it at The British Library. I have obtained funding through pitching and featured on 6 Music and BBC Radio 4. My goal is to produce TV and radio documentaries about music and travel. My dream is to set up a community studio in Africa.
