Luka Jakir, Makarska (Croatia) based DJ and producer launched his career in mid 90s, playing as resident in local clubs. Influenced by electronic music of those days, Luka based his sets on house and techno - perfecting technique, as well as the style along the way.

By the end of the decade he profiles himself as one of leading promoters of electronic sound on broader Makarska area and starts freelancing in the clubs of Croatia and neighboring countries. In 2002 he launches “Nightlife” - a project for promotion of electronic music, which, by today, hosted a lot of local and international DJs.

Most part of the last few years he has spent in the studio experimenting with new equipment and sounds in order to push his understanding of electronic music even further.

His work today is characterized by better defined goals which enable him to continue, as a DJ and a producer, his contribution to the evolution of modern electronic music scene.
