Born in Barcelona and raised in Mexico, Lis Sarroca combines the best of her Catalonian and Mesoamerican heritage to bring an intelligent, focused and creative ethos to her music.
She took her first steps as a DJ in 2007 in her then home town of Chihuahua, Mexico, blending all sorts of tech house, minimal and techno, rapidly earning the respect of peers and the attention of those further afield.
In 2011 she moved to the cultural hub of Mexico City and landed a residency in one of the best known clubs in the city, AM Local. On the strength of this and increasing national attention, performances followed at some of the top clubs around the country - including Hardpop (Cd. Juarez), Bar Americas (Guadalajara) and Rioma (Mexico City).
