I've passed the gauntlet of fire and I'm still here! Trying to find a new life for myself (and hopefully at some point with someone else in it) and trying to figure out whether I'm better off here in Canada or whether I can afford to go back to the States (where my heart has always been). There are, of course, pros and cons to both (don't knock Canada!)
