I'm taking an idea I did back in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s as the basis for my podcast. I used to make mixtapes for friends highlighting songs that I liked and giving a little information about the artists. Not only were there songs people knew and loved, but I also included artists where if they liked this song, they might also like that song by an artist with which they might not be aware. Hopefully I can provide some exposure to some artists who might not have the name recognition of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, OMD, Thompson Twins, Smash Mouth, Linkin Park and others.
