Loved disco music since I was 13 or 14. When I was 15 I got a subscription to Billboard Magazine so I could see the disco charts. I used call Downstairs Records in NYC and order the #1 song from every city over the phone. I was too young fro the clubs, so that is how I experienced "Dr. Love", "From East to West", and many more.
By the time I was 17, I was sneaking in to the discos and by 19 was a bartender at Backstreet Atlanta, later at The Cove and some short stints at The Saint and at P's.
