Approximately 5 years after his first contact with drum and bass at Enterrock and endless searching on the internet for more beats and breaks, a good friend introduced him to the wonderful world of drum and bass.
Sick and tired of his inferior speakers, Kris decided to upgrade his music experience with a Logitech soundsystem. This step forward only increased his love for music.
During that year another friend showed him the basics of Virtual DJ. Kris however, felt this just wasn't enough and had a go with vinyl at WesQ's place.
After months of doubt, Kris, finally made up his mind and was determined to look for some second-hand technics.
At the end of march '10 he got all of his gear and first vinyls.
The last step was deciding which dj-name he should use (and of course lots and lots of practice). Considering he studies chemistry, he came up with the name 'Isotope'.
