Ibrahim Ghannam aka “DJ-G” began his DJing career in his high school days. Back in his local school G was famous for his drumming skills.

As a child he used to listen and study music from the channels like MTV and MCM. At the time he had an tremendous love for HIP-HOP and was influenced by some artists like VANILLA ICE, RUN-DMC, NAUGHTY BY NATURE and HOUSE OF PAIN.

G was in the school brass band and was actually suspended from school several times because he used to drum on his desk during class time.

In early 2006 partying and DJ’s were a common scene in Male’ and there weren’t enough guys like G to spin a DJ crazy. So he used to take several gigs a week making him self very popular with his own style of clothing and fashion amongst the youth.
