Funk Weapons was born out of a desire to release music that was a bit out of the comfort zone for most labels and distributors back in the 1999. The All Good Funk Alliance was writing music that blended organic sounds, funk, house and breaks, and were having a hard time finding anyone that would release or distribute it.
