Groovy Sessions Radio Show former, producer, dj and musical reviewer, Dossiu Amudjev was the first one, who started to promote funk, acid jazz and fusion in bulgarian clubs in the early 90's. As a co-founder of the one of the most important music stores in Sofia (Dukyan Meloman), he was something like pioneer in presenting most of the greatest independent labels like Compost, Ninja Tune, Schema, Sonar Kollektiv, BBE, Tru Thoughts, Record Kicks, Freestyle and Jalapeno in Bulgaria. Through the years Dossiu Amudjev has played as a dj in all famous clubs in Bulgaria, and supported many great musicians and djs. Always searching for the connection between the past and present, in his sets, he plays a lot of jazz tunes (from modal and hard bop to acid and nujazz) with a little bit of broken beat, funk, soul, break beat and latin flavoured music.
