Pero Poljanić, aka Rope69, born in Dubrovnik, makes his first encounter with funky and tribal techno music in 1999. A year later, he started his studies at the Art academy in Bosnia and Hercegovina where he had his first gigs.
At that time his influence were Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunerson, Carl Cox,Sven Vath,Adam Beyer,Chris Liebing,Marco Carola, Samuel l Session etc.
Around 2005., he started to play more techouse,deep and house music and had a lot of gigs at bars, clubs (Lazareti-Dbk, Sloga-Sarajevo, Hookah-Orebić)and festivals (Jusker festival-Dubrovnik, EgoFree Festival -Split) with local and foreign(Dr.Motte, Jean Marie Kone) dj’s. Also, played couple of times with Croatian sax star Jakša Jordes.
Today he lives and works on Pelješac peninsula and plays different genres of music: techno(raw,deep,hypnotic, industrial,melodic)techouse,afro,deep tech,minimal,house(classic,deep,funky,jazzy,jackin,hard,minimal,soulfull),
nu disco, balearic,indie,downtempo,chill etc.
