From the art scene, I got deeply involved in DJing. My first mixtape for inspiration came in the early '90s from Jeff, a French DJ. A unique tape.
During a groundbreaking local exhibition in the early 2000s, I hired DJ Decibel for the opening (from Subtopia parties - Utrecht Massive). That was unusual. In 2005, he gifted me a mixer and helped me acquire turntables. That's how it all started.
For a while now, I've been DJing digitally, partly due to the challenging Covid period and thanks to Andrew's CRDJSchool. I'm an InMusic user, and my favorite shop is Maarten's, DJ Verkoop Zaandam. Profile picture; it was a gift from painter Kathrin
What I listen to: Pop, Dance, Club, DnB, Deephouse, a lot of Progressive, a lot of Trance, and all related styles. But sometimes also Nederlandse pop and 80s & 90s.
Here, you'll primarily hear Future- & Tech-House, Anti Pop, Top 40, royalty-free, or Deephouse. So, the mixes here are either mainstream uplifting or great for chilling out.
