Here’s What Went Down At PIRATE’s Student Open Day

Young creators took part in a day of jam sessions and workshops at PIRATE’s Dalston studio in London, with DJ sets live streamed on Mixcloud.

Last month, PIRATE opened its doors to students for a fantastic open day and Mixcloud was there to see it all. Hosted in Dalston, east London, young creators were treated to a range of activities, including the chance to DJ, make music and record a podcast.

In our very own Mixcloud Studio, artists treated us to amazing mixes across House, Techno and other four to the floor goodness, live streamed on our platform.

Throughout the day, attendees were able to take part in creative workshops, jam sessions and talks about how to make the most of your career. They also had the chance to have their music listened to by professional A&Rs.
