I am originally from the town of Arima (Olton Road, home of the Arima Angel Harps Steel Orchestra). Arima will always be my home but I am now a resident of NYC... Manhattan.

My blog www.sokah2soca.com was started in 2009 from my interactions in the WACK Radio 90.1 FM original chat space. The now have a 'shout box' for general chat. I started the blog (Trinizagada) and eventually renamed it Sokah2Soca | Zagada. The Zagada was put in to remind us of the original name Trinizagada. We started the blog with stories about growing up in Trinidad and it morphed into other things. We now focus on the Music and Culture of Trinidad and Tobago and the English speaking Caribbean.
