DJ David Trooper, (birth name, Aldrin Sealey) is an Open-Format / Multi-Genre DJ. He was born in 1970, in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He later migrated to the USA and quickly became a full-fledged New Yorker, while living in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He served in the US Army and left with an honorable discharge in 2013.
He attended Dubspot Dj school in New York City in 2014, to keep up-to-date with the new DJ technology and the New York music scene.
He now spins his tracks at Cool Running's YAAM, in Berlin, Germany, the DJ capital of the world. He occasionally plays eclectic marathon sets of up to 8 to 10 hours depending on the mood of the evening, consisting of dub, reggae, dancehall, soca, disco and R&B, which might occasionally morph into genres such as disco, classic house, and even tech-house in the early morning hours.
