With Beatport charting tracks behind him, Taya's production moves into a completely new direction of deep and darkened progressive tech-house, furthering the progressive journey of the Taya project. Birthed in the doof scene in the surrounding hills of Byron Bay, Taya was brought up into a life rich with musical influence, experimenting with live music from the tender age of 9, approaching DJing at 13 and immersing himself into the world of production at 15. Playing a big part in the north coast psy-trance scene as a teenager, Taya made the move to house at his coming of age. Soon after this he moved to Berlin for a year to explore the smooth 4x4 sound.
