Katharina Schmidt is a musician based in Berlin whose work spans field recording, improvisation, noise, generative techniques, radio art, and drones. Her music is being released on labels such as enmossed, Vertical Music, Slaapwel Records, and Flag Day Recordings.
She is a resident at Cashmere Radio and SVS Radio and has curated guest-mixes for dublab.de, Mutant Radio, Radio Kapital, Lahmacun Radio and female:pressure as well as co-curating the finale of Berlin’s MaerzMusik festival in 2022.
