female:pressure is an online database and network of female, non-binary and trans artists and cultural workers in the fields of electronic music and digital arts. The network comprises about 2400 DJs, musicians, composers, VJs, visual artists and also bookers, promoters, journalists and researchers from 75 countries around the globe.

We intend to raise the visibility of artists and make information about them easily available. www.femalepressure.net is a worldwide resource of talent and can be searched by geographic location, profession, style and artist name.

We also enhance the exchange of knowledge and collaborations amongst each other. Several workshops, parties, compilations, research projects, public statements and quite a lot of individual cooperations emerged from this fairly diverse swarm of people.
