DJ Sledgehammer (fka Todd "Sledgehammer" Sedlick) started out listening to House Music on 102.7 WBMX and later on B96. He then went on to learn to mix, copying what he heard on the radio from Bad Boy Bill, Julian "Jumpin" Perez and so on. Together with "Jammin" Johnny O & DJ Squared, Sledgehammer entertained party goers on college campuses all across Illinois, mostly focusing on NIU in DeKalb.
After a 2 decade long hiatus, Sledgehammer is back, inspired to rediscover his love of House Music by a HS classmate, Dirty Funk'n DJ.
Where this journey goes from here is anybody's guess but for now let's just enjoy the music!!
