Before relocating to Atlanta in 2010 Tyler was raised in Minneapolis, Mn in the Early 90’s. Growing up in the Midwest offered exposure to many different types of music and art. As the youngest sibling, Tyler spent a lot of time alone exploring his curiosity of music by digging through vinyl records in his Mother’s basement collection. Most of these albums were 70's - 80's Funk & Soul music. Presently in today’s digital age of music, DJ Tyler Prime tastefully bridges the gap of yesterday with a modern approach. Setting the soundtrack with artists ranging from Frankie Beverly to Frank Ocean, this is definitely a frequency you’d want to tune into.
