Welcome to Zimmer Down! Musician & selector Mart Z (Martin Zimmermann) has been DJing in NYC since 2016. Zimmer Down began as a regular show on 8 Ball Radio (2016 - 2018), located in the depths of the basement of a luxury sunglasses store in soho. The show evolved over time into a live all-vinyl DJ event. Zimmer Down's focus is mostly on Funk, Boogie, Soul, City-pop, Reggae, & various "pop musics" from around the world.
Mart Z also plays in the NYC psych-pop band Toebow
