Wilton's musical background has been as long as it is diverse, which is how he likes to keep his sets. Being fed a healthy dose of Heavy Metal and Punk Rock while growing up, he was first introduced to the world of dance music while working as a radio announcer on PulzarFM where he heard Drum & Bass for the first time. Fast forward 4 years, after regular bookings at various Christchurch establishments, and countless hours on his residency spot on the Friday night "Happy Tango show" on PulzarFM, Wilton has developed his style to embrace diversity in his sets, combining various different genres with a focus on Bass Music. Continuously trying to take down genre barriers, and break the mould that DJs can only play 1 genre, It's this diversity that helped make him a finalist at the 2013 RDU Decknology DJ competition. Since the recent grand finals, Wilton has been inspired to take on more diversity, and ad new technical elements to his set, which is what you can expect from him in 2014.
