Wilford B. Wolf

Washington State, United States

Wilford's Mixtape. There is no grand scheme, or some hidden meaning in what I play. This is just stuff I like; more for listening in one's living room than in the clubs. I tend towards 1970s and 1980s music, since I play from vinyl, and often in the mellow mode, but I don't worry too much about genre or trends. So expect common tracks mixed in with obscure gems; a mix of North American, European and Japanese music. Can go off in another direction if I feel like it. Come along for the ride. Made with 100% organic vinyl and carbon based lifeforms. Ⓗ

Pause for November and December 2024

I get it. Well, I don't get it, but that's the point. I don't know who my audience is. I don't have a consistent theme, except that I play what I'm interested in. Apparently that means I won't be successful. You need to pander. You need to put you…

I started reading _Perfecting Sound Forever_ by Greg Milner, a history of recorded sound. In the introduction, the author uses the example of the start of "When The Levee Breaks" by Led Zeppelin as an example of how sound is perceived. Now, I'm sure…

Who I Am, and why I brought you here.

I am been around for a while (quite a while- since 2012), but I have finally decided to move my streaming from Picarto to Mixcloud. And since I now have access to posts, this give me an opportunity to give a little longer intro than possible in the…
