I'm still here
I get it. Well, I don't get it, but that's the point. I don't know who my audience is. I don't have a consistent theme, except that I play what I'm interested in. Apparently that means I won't be successful. You need to pander. You need to put yourself into a pigeonhole and play what they expect.
Bah.
As much as I'd like an audience, the real reason why I do these shows is I like the practice, putting together a show that makes sense, if only in my mind. Yeah, it can be messy and I make mistakes. I'm still learning. So, I'm gonna continue even no one listens, which seems to happen most of the time. But if you find something interesting despite all this, welcome! I find this music interesting and enjoyable, not bound by genre or labels. Whether it's "cool" or trendy.
And if you don't find it interesting, there's plenty others here on Mixcloud that will serve you better.

I support doing what you want and are interested in. I find burnout isn't too far away when you're just trying to please the masses. Sometimes it's finding a balance of both, sometimes it's just doing something for -you- and your creative outlet. I had you followed on a work account that's only logged in in specific places, so whenever I tried to interact with mixcloud users I was usually on my phone and logged out, so it was limiting me. But I'm logging in properly on this account so I can hopefully catch up with folks posts, including yours~ :3 (The stuff I had heard before, I really liked!!)
I'm still here too. Playing what I like. Isn't that what makes it fun?
