Just a note that this summer I'm going to record some extra shows to cover my busy period at work this fall. So I should be able to carry on and take a bit of a break if I need it. Also realizing that I can be a bit more flexible with recording, since I fell into the habit of recording a show the weekend before I was to release it; with Mixcloud, you can schedule a show as far in the future you'd want, so I will take advantage of that.
A related note that I feel like the last few shows have gone better, mostly due to planning. I've changed up the way that I track which releases I play, and now it is easier to see which I have played. This helps so I don't overlook a release when I thought I played, but turns out, nope, I didn't. This also helps with I can just list out which songs I want for a set, and do some of the planning before I pull out the records. Finally, I feel like just doing this on a regular basis is paying off. Who knew that simple repetition and practice would pay off in time?
