As most of you know, LSB is my favourite dnb producer, so i thought it high time to compile a set dedicated to his vast music library. Selecting 24 tracks has not been an easy task, nor choosing the cover art as pictures are limited. Therefore i've settled upon some firm faves, including some new releases & a photo I took from an intimate gig I had the honour of attending.
Footnote......hehe....What I have noted whilst mixing this set, is that Luke likes his bells! Possibly a throw back to childhood Christmas' maybe?! Fortunately no whistles here, just sublime melodies.
One things for sure, Luke Beavon's music needs no embellishment, its stripped back to perfection, definitely here to stay & certainly not just for Christmas!

Absolute lush vibes Twarzeen! I love LSB almost as much as you I think so to hear so many of his absolute best on here has been a pleasure to the ear drums. I still get the feels when The View starts coming in on the mix, gets me every time! Jazz Arps also up there as one of my absolute faves too. Been long overdue from you considering your love for the man :) Hope you have a lovely Xmas ❤
Hey slim! Yep totally agree it took an age for me to compile & get this one up uploaded. 'The view' obviously had to be included along with 'missing you' & 'scarred'......so many with DRS actually so a winner for you Slim!!
Anyway im sure ive over taken you now on the upload front over the last year....where have you been hiding? I really hope you are coming back with more mixes this year as im missing them as im sure other fans are.

I had a shocker a few months ago and spilt coffee all over my laptop! I backed up a lot of tunes but missed the last few months worth and when i transferred them back over to Rekordbox on my new laptop I had lost every single tag and playlist etc from the past 4 years. Been slowly trying to recreate my tune database but it's been a real slog. I will get there eventually but missed out on so many new tunes also as it's killed my enthusiasm a bit! I'll get back up and running soon enough 🙌

I totally agree with attempting to compile a spotlight set with so many tunes to choose from...all a bit overwhelming isnt it!! i began this during covid & added to it in stages when i was in the right mood.
