Once upon a time, back in the mid 90s, Matthew Austin was a music programmer who worked extensively for Youth (Record Producer and bassist for Killing Joke) among others. During this time he worked with many name acts including: Paul McCartney, Crowded House, David Arnold, Killing Joke, Blue Pearl, Maria McKee, Zodiac Mindwarp, Eat Static, System 7, Subsurfing, Dr Robert, Chapterhouse and others.
Matthew also worked on remixes for artists including: KLF (with Tony Thorpe of The Moody boys ), De La Soul, Killing Joke, The Orb, System 7, Edwyn Collins, The Mission, The Cult, Depeche Mode, INXS and more.
Matthew has contributed music for the films: Showgirls, Hard Men and Playing God.
Matthew is currently making music using an iPhone 5s and publishing it on Souncloud under the name The Elected.
Matthew is scared. He's noticed that he's writing in the third person.
