DJ Kes is a bird from Barnsley. He was born ready to scratch having been blessed with extremely long talons.
He was hatched in Yorkshire and grew up on a council estate in Barnsley with his friend Casper. Together they escaped life's troubles by listening to records. Here they developed their passion for soul, funk, disco, hip hop, reggae as well as drum and bass and jungle music.
He survived bird flu in 2000 and following this he decided life is too short, he quit his paper round and decided to pursue his life long ambition of being a DJ.
Once an aviation expert, he has now decided that he is too fly to fly
