Psychedelic music has been blowing my mind since I was a young lad in the 1960s, listening to Top-100 hits on WERK in rural Indiana. I've been making psych music mixes (initially on cassette and even 8-track) since I got my first stereo as a teen in the '70s and have been amazed at the seemingly endless psychedelic gems that continue to surface from that shining crystalline era of '65-'71. I'm currently attempting to curate the finest psychedelic singles new bands have to offer via my 45-rpm singles-only label, Hypnotic Bridge Records (hypnoticbridge.com), in hopes that one day collectors and fans of psychedelic music will find them as fascinating as I find those put out by Deram, Pye, and other great labels of the '60s.
