Michael Yang (Michael Grasmugg) is an Austrian DJ, producer and live artist. In 2002 he began as R2-D2 and Andreas Hofer to play at underground Parties with some vinyl. After some time, at the age of 20, he got more and more in contact with progressive trance and started to produce tracks in this genre. After many hours of hard work in the studio, he plays his live set in Austria, Slovenia and Germany.
In 2008 he founds his own society in 2008 – Kernöl Beatz – he started to make own parties with friends in Styria. Some experiments later getting more experience he finally got a record deal with Nephilim Records as „Michael Jugolovski“. At Nephilim he released 3 albums. He also coworked for dk.motion and produced some jingles for advertising spots. In 2017 he starts his new project "STRANDBUDE" and at the same time founds his Techno / Tech House label "Bass Entertainment Records". The first release he published in 2018 under the name "finely tuned". Next releases will come soon.
