DJ Steve-O acquired his passion for music at the age of 14 from listening to local Tampa DJ Matt The Brat's Live Club Broadcast on Tampa's 93.3 FLZ

When he was 15 years old he managed to convince his parents to buy him a set of Technic 1200 turntables. He worked part time at Subway and spent his entire pay check buying vinyl. He practiced every chance he got and started playing friends house party's
When he turned 18 He got the chance to open for Wild 94.1's own King JB at Cafe 13 in Clearwater,FL where He learned to read a crowd and switched from just playing breakbeats to open format.
A few years later DJ Coz from Wild 94.1 gave him his first big break DJ'n Saturday Nights at a well known Nightclub in south Tampa called Hyde Park Cafe. Since then he has held residencies at many well known Nightclubs such as Drynk SoHo, MacDinton's Soho and DTSP, Zo Lounge Clearwater, Cheap Soho, Mangrove's SoHo, Push Ultra Lounge DTSP, and Lavish Palm Harbor just to name a few
