About the host:
Starmist is the electronic music project of Norwegian producer and DJ Sturla T. Sivertsen, active since the early 2000s. His work spans multiple eras of club-oriented electronic music, with releases covering house, dance, and melodic electronic styles.
Starmist’s productions are characterized by a blend of 90s and early-2000s dance influences combined with modern electronic arrangements. His catalog frequently features melodic hooks, groove-driven rhythms, and vocal-based compositions, balancing classic club aesthetics with contemporary production techniques. Across his releases, recurring stylistic elements include warm chord progressions, rhythmic basslines, and a focus on song-structured dance tracks rather than minimal or experimental forms.
