Pete Evans is a record and CD collector, radio DJ and retired teacher. Musically into modern jazz both live and recorded encompassing the following genres; be-bop, hard bop, latin, bossa nova, organ, vocals, spiritual, fusion and soul. He also likes cricket, football, cooking, walking and enjoys reading thrillers and spy novels, biographies, jazz magazines and studying Japanese books about jazz labels! He can often be found digging for vinyl in the Soho shops on his trips to London, and DJing at various venues locally in his hometown of Sheffield.
