Soundwiese | A Deep Mix Journey
Markus Wilwerscheid from Cologne has been on the decks behind the DJ project “Soundwiese” since the summer of 1992, spinning round LPs on turntables of similar shape. Like a field dotted with different flowers, Soundwiese represents a colourful mix of sounds. It is a series of deep mixes, consisting of many different sub-genres that are regularly updated by Markus Wilwerscheid with new club and studio mixes, as well as podcasts.
A sense of deep sound shall be carried and likewise held. My style moves through many electronic sub-genres, making it impossible for me to define it. And I don`t even want that. Whether minimal club sound, dubby chord techno, melodious tech house, abstract electronica or spherical ambient: it has to be "deep" and "soulful”, that's essential!
